Lenne was both a summoner and a talented singer-songwriter from Zanarkand who lived over 1,000 years prior to the events of Final Fantasy X. Kind and compassionate, she became famous for both her popular ballads and her high-profile romance with the elite blitzball player, Shuyin. When war broke out with Bevelle, all summoners in Zanarkand, including Lenne, were sent to fight on the front lines. Shuyin attempted to infiltrate Bevelle and put an early end to the war in hopes of saving Lenne from certain death; instead both Lenne and Shuyin were killed by Bevelle forces.

Construction Notes:
I'd first tried putting together a Lenne costume way back in 2006, but never actually finished it; I had trashed most of it, though I had kept the beaded earrings I had made at the time, which had come out well. In 2016 I found a high quality songstress costume online and bought two so I could finally be Lenne and have a matching Yuna with me. Although the costume top and sleeves came out well, I ended up making my own black lace skirt out of casa black lace and satin fabric so I could get a closer fit to my own body promotions. It is a simple circle skirt with a knife pleat and an elastic waist, but the length fits me much better. For boots I bought a pair of faux suede boots that had a scalloped top and added a slighter brown suede fabric to create the two-tone pattern of Lenne's boots. The microphones were ones I had laying around, though i'd like to actually modify one to create the microphones Lenne and Yuna use in the game. Both of these costumes are fun to wear and very comfortable; it's a very enjpyable late-night costume!
