Awarded BEST IN SHOW at Another Anime Convention 2009

Stardust came up with "A Night At the Museum" after deciding to cosplay the newest Vocaloid, Luka Megurine, to match my Miku Hatsune costume. She thought it would be fun do a silly Vocaloid skit to a mash-up of "Wind It Up" and "(Do You Wanna) Date My Avatar." I didn't really feel like entering the AAC masquerade again after winning by default in 2008, but the idea was funny so I relented. We recruited Gale to be Rin Kagamine and Steve's boyfriend to play a computer nerd who sees the Vocaloids on display at a technology exhibit and inadvertently brings them to life with a remote. The three girls pretend to fawn over him or order to gain control of the remote and shut the nerd down before escaping. Even though we threw together the skit the weekend before the con, the audience seemed to enjoy it and we had fun with it, even giving the "nerd" an AnimeCons.com T-Shirt as a shot at our favorite nerdy friend, PatrickD.
