While rehearsing our Dead Moon Circus skit for Anime Boston, we filmed practices so everyone could study the choreography when they went home and inevitably ended up filming plenty of shenanigans as well. About halfway through our schedule, we decided to document the rehearsal process on purpose, thinking that if the show went well, it would be fun to put together a "making of" video that followed the life of the skit. We also joked that if the skit flopped, we would delete all the tapes and never speak of it again. However, our efforts paid off and the skit won Best In Show, and I ended up with the enjoyable task of putting our scrapbook-esque "Making of Circus" video together. I love how this came out; it captures all the highlights and lowlights of our time together, and more importantly, it accurately documents just how much fun - and how much WORK - went into this thing.
